An ENT, also known as an otolaryngologist, is a medical doctor with specialized training for issues of the ear, nose and throat. Ear, nose and throat concerns cause more than half of the health concerns that cause patients to seek medical care. Seeing an ENT often gets you to an accurate diagnosis and targeted treatment faster.
Advanced ENT offers specific services for the the treatment of:
- Ears
- Nose and Sinuses
- Throat
- Neck
- Pediatric Services
- Dizziness and Balance
- Snoring and Sleep
- Allergies
- Voice and Swallowing Disorders
Ears

We see patients experiencing troubling symptoms of the ear or a change in hearing, including hearing loss, tinnitus (a ringing in the ears), frequent ear infections, earwax build up, and other acute or chronic ear disorders and treatments. We also see patients for hearing screenings and testing, and hearing aids.
An ear exam may include using small tools to clean the ear canal and gentle suction to remove wax.

Nose and Sinuses

We evaluate, manage and treat sinus issues including allergies, post-nasal drip, sinusitis, headaches, nosebleeds, snoring, congestion, deviated septum, injury or fractures.
Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses, often due to infection. Our chronic sinusitis treatment uses state-of-the-art techniques, including balloon sinuplasty and image-guided endoscopic surgery for precision treatment and rapid healing.
A sinus exam may include the use of a numbing spray and decongestant spray before using a tiny nasal scope with a light and camera to see up into your sinuses.
For those patients who have been experiencing chronic sinus infections for months or even years, we understand the frustration and impact that a chronic condition can have. Our process is to review your past care and treatment, assess your current condition, and provide treatment options that help solve any underlying issues.

Throat
We see pediatric and adult patients experiencing symptoms of the throat that include tonsils and adenoids, vocal fold nodules, polyps and cysts, hoarseness, GERD, swallowing difficulties, cough, vocal cord paralysis, and salivary gland disorders.
A throat exam may include a laryngoscopy, which uses a small scope with a light and camera, introduced through the nose to the back of the throat to examine the vocal cords.
Neck
We see patients experiencing issues of the neck or who are experiencing chronic disease, tumors, trauma, or deformities of the head, neck, and face. We also help patients manage problems with the nerves in the head and neck that control taste, smell, hearing, and facial movements.
Pediatric Services

Advanced ENT offers compassionate care for little ones experiencing common or complex ear, nose or throat issues, including frequent ear infections, ear tubes, allergies, sinusitis, frequent strep throat, tonsillitis, snoring, hoarseness, speech issues, hearing loss, facial, paralysis trauma or sport injuries, sleep apnea, pediatric GERD (Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disease), tongue tie and frenotomy. We perform comprehensive audiologic testing per EHDI guidelines, with appropriate follow up and referrals after a failed newborn hearing evaluation.
These problems are often complicated because young children can’t tell us exactly what hurts or when symptoms change. Our approach establishes a relationship of trust and gentle care that can last beyond the childhood years for a lifetime of good care.
Dizziness and Balance

One in 10 visits to a physician’s office is regarding a complaint of dizziness or imbalance. Too often, these complaints are dismissed as a normal part of the aging process or are blamed on other conditions. However vertigo and balance difficulties can have a significant impact on your daily life and activity and may even lead to injuries.
At Advanced ENT, we evaluate dizziness and imbalance symptoms through:
- The Dix-Hallpike Maneuver to test for BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo)
- A complete audiologic evaluation
- Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR)
- Electrocochleography (ECOG)
- Videonystagmography (VNG)
- MRI/MRA referrals when warranted
- Dizziness Questionnaire
We also offer in-house ENT therapy to treat dizziness, imbalance, and temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ).
Snoring and Sleep
One in four people have a problem with chronic snoring and related sleep issues. Because their sleep is impacted by their breathing, it isn’t as deep or restful. As a result, snorers can be irritable, resentful, and even unsafe. Sleep deprivation can also compromise the immune system and lead to low energy, decreased productivity and muddled thinking. We help you determine what is causing your snoring or sleep issues and provide treatment so you can get the rest you need.
Allergies
We see patients experiencing ENT issues related to allergies, from runny nose and sneezing, to itching, rashes, swelling, and asthma. Our care includes management plans for known allergies.
Voice and Swallowing Disorders
We see patients experiencing voice problems and hoarseness, GERD, throat nodules, polyps and cysts, adult tonsillitis, vocal cord paralysis, the effects of secondhand smoke, swallowing trouble, and salivary gland disorders. We know how frustrating these symptoms can be and their impact on everyday life. Our approach helps identify underlying causes of the symptoms and provides treatment options or care to minimize their impact.
