Nearly 30 million Americans have impaired hearing. For some patients, hearing loss can be surgically corrected but for many others medical devices and rehabilitation can reduce the impact of hearing loss and improve their quality of life.
Our audiology services include testing and evolution to pinpoint the cause of a hearing impairment, in coordination with our ENT services, and to determine treatment options or care plans.
We administer and interpret screening and specialized tests, including:
- Comprehensive audiological evaluations
- Comprehensive otoacoustic emissions (OAE)
- Neurodiagnostic Auditory Brainstem Reponse (ABR)
- Electrocochleography (ECOG)
Hearing Aids

Advanced ENT is proud to work with Widex, Phonak, and Oticon products.
Our audiologists will help determine which options are right for you, your budget, your type of hearing loss, and your lifestyle. Hearing aids come in different sizes and shapes and can be custom fit to your ear.
Digital hearing aids are now the market standard. Several offer advanced features such as automatic sound processing, directional microphones, and multiple listening programs. These may aid in greater comfort and improved hearing in noisy environments. Hearing aids can also now connect wirelessly to mobile phones, television, landline telephones, and more.
Dizziness and balance

Vertigo and balance difficulties can have a significant impact on your daily life and activity level, and may even lead to injuries.
At Advanced ENT, we evaluate dizziness and imbalance symptoms through:
- The Dix-Hallpike Maneuver to test for BPPV (Benign Paroxysmal Positioning Vertigo)
- A complete audiologic evaluation
- Auditory Brainstem Response (ABR)
- Electrocochleography (ECOG)
- Videonystagmography (VNG)
- MRI/MRA referrals when warranted
- Dizziness Questionnaire
We also offer in-house ENT therapy to treat dizziness, imbalance, and temporomandibular joint syndrome (TMJ).
