Specialty: Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery (Ear, Nose and Throat)

Dr. Parameswaran, aka Dr. Para, has been caring for patients of all ages for twenty years. He is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered evaluation and treatment for all ENT problems. Tots, teens, and adults alike will be examined with the utmost attention to detail and treated with compassion and concern with the ultimate goal being a successful recovery.
Dr. Para grew up in the Northeast and completed his undergraduate education at Duke University. He then attended Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in New Jersey. It was during medical school that Dr. Para became fascinated with head and neck anatomy and physiology. During his medical training, he performed research and clinical rotations in otolaryngology and became intrigued by the ability of otolaryngologists to diagnose and fix problems in difficult-to-access places in the body like the ear, nose, throat. He decided to pursue an otolaryngology residency, five years of surgical training, at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA.
To this day, Dr. Para has had no regrets choosing this wonderful field with the opportunity to treat patients of all ages with an armamentarium of diagnostic tools and surgical equipment. He has a particular interest in the diagnosis and management of nasal obstruction, allergy and chronic sinus problems. During his leisure time, he enjoys listening to classic rock/alternative music, exercise, automobiles, travel, and discussing the day’s events at dinner with his wife, two daughters, and pet cat Nico.
